End of 2009

I will be putting a post with pictures from Christmas, but my batteries died in my camera. The end of 2009 is closing coming. There has been so much change this past year. Some of which are good and bad. Here is some of what has changed:

• My Uncle Jay (also known as Uncle JJ) had passed away from cancer in June. This is something that still upsets me very much so. He was only 34 years old. He had my cousin Nathan as a son who is now 4 years old. It is nice to look at Nathan and how Nathan acts sometime that reminds me of Uncle JJ. He will never be forgotten.
  

• My best friends mom's cancer came back. Thankfully she has made it threw this year. Hope she has many more years.

• We are not talking with Cody's parent right now and have not since July. It is something that goes into great detail and time to explain everything.
  

• We have gotten so very close to Jon, Ashley and the boys. WE are so glad to be part of their lifes. The people who are not, well they are missing out on a lot.
  

• I found Cody's Uncle Cal (which i didnt mean to but am so very glad i did). Cody hasnt seen or talk to him in many many years. But are glad we are talking to him now.
  

• We are working very hard to get out of debt. It would have helped if we didnt have to move out on our own in a short time with no money saved up. But we are working to get out of the mess. It is going pretty good but taking time.
  

• Cody has changed jobs. He doesnt care for where he works now but it is money. WHen i am done with school he is going back to become a mechanic. Which makes me so very happy.

• Cannon took my thong out of my over night bag when we were visiting JOn and Ashley (cannon is the dog).

• We found out our female lizard is not a female.

• My dads best friend (who i call my uncle) and my cousin (by marriage) got married. So happy for them both.
  

We have had some ups and downs in 2009. But it is something we are both growing from. We are so very grateful to have the relationship with the family and friends that we do. Cody and I have our fights but things are always getting better. I am so grateful to have Cody in my life. I love him to death and dont know what i would do without him. He is not only my boyfriend but my best friend. He makes me happy and is an amazing cook. I am so ready for 2010. To get closer to the people that we are already close to and to get out of debt. In 2010 i will be graduating from college and getting the office job that i want (i hope). So things will be looking up for us.

Christmas Only Days Away

Christmas only days away and its one of my favorite holidays. This year Cody and I will not be buying for each other. We are trying to budget our money and get our selves out of debt. But it is still a special time because it is time to spend with loved ones. We are grateful for the family that we have around. On Christmas day we are going to my parents house to open gifts to each other then maybe my mom will make breakfast. Then we will be going to my Aunt Melissa's house to see the rest of the family and to have Christmas dinner. There is like 15 of us that have holiday dinner together. Then this weekend we are hoping will allow us to go visit Jon and Ashley and the boys. Should be a good Christmas. We have gotten lots of Christmas picture/cards. We have gotten one from my sister and her boyfriend, Steve; one from Jon and Ashley and the boys; two from my friend and her boyfriend and son; then one from Cody's cousin who lives in Maryland; and then we got one from my Aunt Jen and cousin Nathan. So the frig looks pretty good right about now. School is over for me until Jan. 25th. Took my finals and that went pretty good. My grades wont be able to be seen until tomorrow. I know in my one class called Office Procedures I got a C+. Which is pretty good. That class had a harder grading scale. For example i got an 91% which in the that class is a B+. If it was any other grading school it would have been an A. So I will have pictures from Christmas this week and maybe pictures from New Years Eve. Not sure what we are doing yet since Cody works until 11. Cody doesn't have a car right now. His starter went and then something else broke then two days ago the battery died. My Uncle has a battery for it so we don't have to go spend money on a new one. My sister since she works at the same place that Cody does takes him to work and then I pick him up from work. Hopefully nothing happens to my car or then i don't know what we will do. Yesterday because of all the snow we got Cody had to help me get my car out since i went to leave for work and got stuck. My car would not go back or forth. But lucky we got it out and i got to work. Then while i was at work Cody shoveled a spot for my car to fit without getting stuck again. That is all the new stuff for now.

Busy Past Couple of Months

I havent written a blog in such a long time. Things have been busy for Cody and me. Lets see where do I start. October was Cody and my anniversary. Been together 4 years and loving it. We have our good days and bad days. We have our fights. We are both stubborn. November was my Uncle Tim's birthday and Cody's birthday. The day before Cody's birthday I had my parents come over for dinner to celebrate since Cody had to work on his birthday. I made Cody meatloaf and corn and mashed potatoes. I had never made meatloaf before. So that was a first for me. My sister baked Cody a birthday cake. Then the weekend after his birthday we had my best friend Kaylisha and her hubby, John, my sister and her boyfriend Steve come over to the house. We had fun. John and Kaylisha didn't leave until 5 a.m. Cody and John were playing Call of Duty. Kaylisha and I feel asleep on the sofas. I had to work at 10 the next day. John said he had thought it was 3 a.m. not 5. Silly John. Then there was Thanksgiving. This Thanksgiving we were thankful for having the caring family that we do have around us. We were thankful to have each other. Cody and I have been through a lot together. I am very thankful that he didn't move when those parents of his did. We are thankful for the relationship that we have with Jon, Ashley and the nephews. We have such a great relationship with them all. For Thanksgiving we went to my parents house for dinner. My mom always makes dinner for the family. There are always like 15 people that she cooks for. My mom did a wonderful job. Cody and I went over a little while before everyone else. We took the Wii Cody got me for Christmas last year and had my dad play. He seemed to have a great time. Cody, my dad and i played boxing, and bowling. It was fun. Then That weekend we went to see Jon and Ashley and the boys. Had such a great time seeing them. Like always it was so so very sad to say good bye when i was time for Cody and Me to go home. But we make the best of the time we spend with them. They took us out for dinner to celebrate Cody"s birthday since we didn't get to see them til then. Thank you guys for that. Then after getting back we put our Christmas Tree up. Now are tree isn't the greatest but it is a tree. This year our Christmas tree is a little different. There was a Christmas tree ornament that Cody didn't not want on the tree. So that was left out. But my sister gave us two ornaments for the cats that have their names on them. Shawn made his Uncle Cody and Aunt Lynda an ornament that was put on the tree. This coming New Year we are saying out with the old and in with the new. We are getting new cell phones and new numbers. We are also going to be looking for a new apartment. I will be graduating in May so there will be a new job soon after. We are going to have a new start. Just Another Day

So Cody and I have been together for 4 years and 3 days now. We are happy with how our life is. Nothing really happening right now. I just thought i would try to make a blog as much as i can but we don't have kids yet so new things don't a ways happen with us. In just 8 more days we get to visit with Jon (Cody's Brother), Ashley, Shawn, and Landon. We have missed them all so very much. We haven't seen them since end of June beginning of July. It has been way way to long. Cody is working more hours at work. He says he wants to save up for something. When i ask what, he just says don't worry about it. But i am smart and have come up with what it is he is saving for. He is save for my engagement ring. He was upset at first when i told him i knew. But then i told him what my uncle had said. My Uncle Tim said, "It is very hard to surprise the women in your family because they are all very smart and figure things out. They might not know the details but they know the basic." My Uncle was tell him this. I told Cody i might have figured out that he was saving up for my ring but i don't know when, where, or even if he is getting the ring i showed him. That all will be a surprise for me. He feels much much better now. I do love him very much. I have been thinking to myself. When we do get engaged, our wedding will be weird. The reason i say that is for a couple of reasons. The first being we haven't talked to his parent since July. They probably don't approve of me or like me. Which don't bother me. So who knows how that will be (if they go to the wedding, how they act with me, or to the both of us, how my family will be with them). Cody and I were talking last night about the other reason. The other reason is that Cody has two brothers, Ben (oldest) and Jon (middle child), who don't get along. Both of which will be in the wedding. We know Jon will keep the peace. Plus Cody hasn't heard from Ben such a long time. Not sure if it is because he knows about the fighting with their parents or what. Maybe it is just a little of me being over worried or the both of us worrying a little. So know to change the subject. I have changed my major for the 3rd time since going to college. I have been going to college since Fall of 2006. Way to long. When i first started going my major was Accounting, then it changed to Legal Secretary and has been that for a year or two. I had a meeting with my adviser who is also one of my professors. She and i had discussed my grade in Legal Terminology. Which isn't good at all. That class is very hard. We get a list of word (always group from 4 chapters) and sometimes there would be 150 or less words on it. We had to study all of them but like only 50 would be on the test. With my learning disability it is hard for me. So the professor and i have decided that the best thing for me was to drop that class and change my major to Executive Secretary. I still graduate in May. This way i don't have to know terminology i just have to know spelling. Which she said if i have trouble doing test (test day she would say a word and i have to spell it on paper), she would give me a paper with a list. Each number will have 3 ways to spell each word. One correct way and two incorrect way. I would have to pick the right one. So she is really working with me. She is a good professor. So i think i wrote a pretty long blog sorry for the ones who don't like to read a lot. Here are some pictures of the cats. Enjoy

So I figured with Cody's and my anniversary coming up in a couple of days, i would reflect on our relationship.On October 6, 2005, Cody and I started dating. We were both seniors in school. I had had a crush on Cody for a year or so by this time but never thought more of it. We both sat at the same lunch table. I was the only girl at the table full of maybe 5 people. We never really talked to each other. A week or so before Cody and I started dating, we were sitting at the table at lunch and we all got in a conversation about dating. Cody says how he doesn't want a girlfriend because he didnt want to waste his money on them. On October 5th was our Senior Class trip to the Renaissance Fair. I was going to hang out with my friend Sarah, a guy she was on and off dating, and my two guy friends, Steve and Rob (they are twins). Well Cody went and was really the only one out of his friends(at the time) who went. So because he knew my friends Rob and Steve he decided to hang out with them. So it was all of us. Cody and I talked more them we did before. They all made fun of me because the day before i put sparkling water in the freezer. So when i went to drink some it went every where. Cody kept doing little things to get my attention. One of the twin was nice enough to buy me a metal rose since i didnt have enough money for it. Cody had bought one which he ended up giving it to me. He shared his food with me and bought be a drink. The next day he asked me out. We have been through a lot together. He has done a lot for me (stopped smoking, stopped doing other things, he ended up giving up 5 friends because he said i was more important [this five friends were they greatest, trying to all to get in trouble and doing other things], family members deaths and so on. The above song is our song. That was the first song we had ever slowed danced too. No matter how made we make each other we have stuck by each other. He is my soul mate and i love him to death. I cant see me being with anyone but him. I love you hubby. So here are some pictures of us over the past 4 years.

Back to School

So on Monday August 24th was time for me to go back to school. What a week it had been going back to school!! I have to know 140 legal words by Wednesday. Cody's car is back up and running. With the help of my Uncle Tim and the hard work from Cody, they got the car all put together. Cody enjoyed ever minute with working on his car. He really will make a great mechanic one day. My hours at Sam's Club sucks. They had to cut my departments hours. Monday through Saturday is 11-7 and on Sundays is 10-6. Not liking it. I cant get weekends off because i need my hours. And since on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays i cant get into work until 1:30 because of school, i lose two hours from my paycheck. Cody got new hours at work. He works Tuesday through Saturday. Same time as before 2:45 p.m. to 11 p.m. He applied for a first shift supervisor position where he works. But he has to wait until 2 or 3 weeks when he temp hours are up. So far no one else has applied for the job. I am keeping my figures cross. Not too long ago, my family had found out that my Uncle Roger has cancer. We didn't know much. But an update on that is we found out what kind of cancer it is. He has lung cancer. He is my father brother. Cancer sucks really bad. I want to grow my hair long again and then cut 12 inches (i think it is inches but not sure) off and donate it to Lock for Love. Which they help make wig for cancer patients. Cody and I are doing great. We are still madly in love with each other. WE are missing Jon, Ashley, Shawn and Landon very much. Not sure when we will see them which is driving us both nuts. Me more then Cody because I am going through Ashley withdrawal. I believe that is all the update for now. Its been really busy since going back to school. This is my last year and it is a very hard term. I have a heavy work load. I hope with the next blog to have pictures.

What Luck

So what are luck Cody and I have been having. We are not that good off with money and look what goes and happens I believe it happen Wednesday or Tuesday. Cody's Nisson breaks down on his way to go pick up my sister and then both head off to work. He calls me at work to tell me his car has broke down and he thinks his transmition has gone. So on my last break I called my wonderful Uncle Tim who happens to have a tow truck to see if he could tow the car back to his place so Cody can figure out what has happened to his car. Well after work I got to my Aunt Melissa's and Uncle Tim's house to go get the car. First we thought it was tranmsition flouid on the ground but then we thought it was oil since Cody's car was out of oil. Well Cody spent all day Saturday at my uncle's trying to figure out what it could be. Well it was his transmition. But they had to get it out. They thought they knew what it was so they went to the part store to get the part. Then worked on getting the transmition out. On Sunday, we got up and went over for more fun on trying to get the transmition out. We they finally got it out after in between the rain. Here it was the transmition and the part they got will not help. Because of what had happen there is no fixing the transmition he has. So this Saturday coming up my Uncle Tim and Cody are getting up early to go to junk yard to find a transmition. Great Weekend

What a great weekend Cody and I had. Started with Friday night. Cody has made some new friend at his new job so some of them wanted to got out. So we went to our first Club, which was called 1402. Cody got drunk (no thanks for the new friends lol). He had a bad hang over the next day. Saturday we left early to go see Jon, Ashley, Shawn and Landon. We had missed them so very much. We havent see them since June 7th. So it was a long time coming. We got to their new home and went for a tour of the new house. Shawn showed us the rooms and his room. What a great tour guide he was. It was so nice to see them. Even nicer to see JOn for a little before he had to head to work. Cody, Ashley, Shawn and Landon all went for lunch. What a great time. Then we went to Target. Love that store, so so much better then Wal-Mart. Then we got to come back to their house to relax. Cody put together Ashley's and Jon's new grill and Ashley made dinner. Cody also had blown up their new pool. Later Saturday night Cody and Jon went out to have a little brother bonding time. Ashley and I had a get time bonding as well. I have learned from that night "What Happens at Ashley's house stays at Ashley's House". We had such a great time. On Sunday, all 6 of us went for lunch. Then we all went to see Pap (Jon and Cody's grandfather). It was so nice to visit with him. Then we heading to Petsmart because Jon and Ashley and the boys are getting a new puppy in 2 weeks. So we were getting things for the new puppy. Then we head back to Jon and Ashley's for dinner. Cody grill Hot dogs and hambugers. While Ashley and I made the mac 'n cheese. Jon gave the boys a bath. We had a great dinner. Landon went to bed then and we got to relax a little with Jon, Ashley, and Shawn before we headed back home. We had such a great time with all of them we didnt want to leave. I wanted to add in a couple of things. I have made my blog private because I no longer want some people to have the ablity to view my blog. Even though I dont think they had looked all that often but still. I had also wanted to say, I am so glad i had taken the chance to write Ashley and Jon the e-mail that i did back in October. I took the time to e-mail them then so taht Cody could have a relationship with his brother, sister-in-law and nephews. I believe in the love of the family. Even though his parents are not showing that right now, at least he knows he has Jon, Ashley, Shawn, Landon, Pap, and my family. I had also e-mailed them because i wanted to know their side of the story with what happen to them and Marta and Jim. I know what I have seen go on with my relationship with Cody's parents. I had enough. I have an even more of enough with them the last couple of months. They have taken a lot away from me, Jon, Ashley, Cody, Shawn and Landon. If it wasnt for Cody's parents we would have had a good relationship with Shawn and Landon a lot and i mean a lot sooner. I hope the boys know how much their Aunt Lynda and Uncle Cody love them and how much they mean to us. Jon and Ashley, the both of you mean a lot to us as well. We love you both so much. Hope nothing ever comes between us again. For everyone else please do not sure what i write in my blogs to anyones else. Thank you

Nosy People

I must say I am so bothered tonight. There are people who now have a problem with me. Have a problem with Cody's brother and sister-in-law. This makes me mad because we did nothing wrong. Its only because we see who those people really are and arent going to take their crap anymore. The person thinks i have only started having a problem with them since I starting talking to Ashley. Well your wrong. I started talking to Jon and Ashley because i wanted to know their side of the story and to see if things matched up and so Cody can have a brother relationship with his brother. And a relationship with his nephews because of you he had missed out on a lot. Well I haven't see Jon, Ashley or the boys for a little while and i am going crazy. I cant believe you live 12 hours away and when your up here not want to spend time with them. They are such wonderful people and have been there for me a lot within this almost past year. You say you want people to leave you alone. Then why are you checking blogs, and calling. Now i am not the only one saying that. I am learning new things. You want your son to come visit you and say nothing about the both of us coming to visit. Do you think he will go down with out me? Do you think i will let him go alone so that way you can either try to break us up or talk him in to moving down there? Well guess what you moved 12 hours away not him. He didnt chose to move that far away. He was so depressed because he feels like his parents didnt want to be around him. YOu say what happens between him and his parents are none of my business well guess what him and i are together. When he is hurt i am hurt. When he is upset, i am upset. If your done with us then be done with us. I am pretty much at that point right now. What you did in the car at the hospital pretty much did it for me. So just stop being nosy. Jon and Ashley got smart and blocked you and your friends from seeing their blog. In due time you will be blocked from mine too. You want us out of your life well your getting it. Maybe one day you will relized what your missing out on, or your mistakes. Just hope it wouldnt be too late. And in some cases you might be already to late.

Father's Day

What a great day Father's Day was!! Cody, me and my sister Brandy bought my dad a fishing license for father's day. Then Cody, me, my sister (Brandy), Mom and dad all went fishing. Well i didnt fish but i took pictures and read Breaking Dawn (The 4th Twilight book) We all had a lot of fun. But before we went fishing. Cody, me and Brandy made my dad breakfast. Which was really good. My mom helped a little too. Then went fishing at one spot then went back to my parents house got another fishing rode and some food to make sandwiches. Then we went to another spot to fish. Then after almost 6 hours of fishing we all went back to my parents place to so that Brandy, me and Cody could cook my dad dinner. They day was so nice and fun. My mom told cody that she sees him, more like a son and not a son-in-law. My family pretty much sees Cody as part of the family.

Its nice to see how much Cody fits in with my family. They all joke and mess around with him. He is truely loved by my family. When we left my parents house on Sunday my sister yells to us "love you both". I have such good family. This helps since Cody's family live so far away and since his parent moved 12 hours away a year and couple of months ago. His parents and i are not getting a long right now. I haven't seen eye to eye with them for a while. They think isnt only started a couple of months ago but it hasn't. Cody knows he has me and my family and his brother and Ashley to support what ever he decides to do with his live. Family should never turn their backs on people that they say they loved. They shouldn't move many hours away because of a people. They should take it head first and solve the problem.

Thank you to everyone who really showed me that you cared to ask how i was and how everythign was going. It means a lot to me to have good friends and family around to help through rough times. My family is still getting past the death of my Uncle. He will be missed very much and loved. We miss him so much. But he isn't in pain anymore and that is good.

Jon and Ashley thank you so much for sending me the card that was very nice of you. It means a lot to me. This is a very upsetting time for me, Cody, and my family. I have had friends at work come up to me and give me hugs and have asked about me. I have friends comment me on my myspace, and facebook. Ashley has been asking me how i am doing everyday. Today i had to go to work. I had only cried just once. I kept myself busy so i would think about everything. Shawn had painted me and Cody a picture and ashley sent it to us. Cody had told me to put it on the frig. So that is where the picture has been since we got it. WE love the picture. Thank you so much. Here are pictures of what we have gotten.
