New Family Member

What a day. Cody and i both worked all day. While i was at work yesterday a friend had told me that there was a reptile show today. So today she comes in and tells me what time it is over. I called Cody at work and asked if he wanted to go. He said yeah. So as soon as my other assoicate comes in, i tell her what to do (since i am the supervisor in the department) and tell her what i needed to. I clocked out and got home picked cody up and we went right there. We both got done with work at 4 and the show is over at 5. So we got there just before they packed everything up. We were looking about and saw these cute lizards. They were Veiled Chameleon. Cody looked at me with those blue eyes of his. Then we looked around a little bit. Then went back to the stand with the Veiled Chameleon. We got one. We got a female and Cody named her Mika. She is rather cute and kinda kool to hold. Then we went back to Sam's Club so i can gets something and took my sister for lunch (her dinner break) and went to Petsmart to get crickets. Then we got home and Cody set up one of the two cages we had sitting around. We put Mika in it and feed her. Here are some pictures of Mika and the kittens.

Weekend Away

What a wonderful weekend.

We had just a great weekend. We went out to see Jon, Ashley and the boys, Cody's grandfather and other family. We got there Saturday night. Ashley and i got to have a girls night. We went to dinner and then went to see a movie. Let me tell ya that i am not going to let her pick a movie again. Last month we went to see Saw V which is wonderful. Because i love all the Saw movies. She picked the movie Friday the 13th. Omg was that movie scary. Cody and Jon got to spend sometime together which they both enjoyed very much. We spent the night at Jon and Ashley's house. It was different to waking up to hearing a little boy wanting his parents. It was nice tho. Cody's parents then came over to say good bye. They left to go back to SC. Wish they would have spend more time with us. Maybe next time. Then we went and spent some time with Cody's grandfather Pap. Then we went to see his cousin Brenda and the boys. It was nice. After that we went to Cody's Aunt Lorrie's house to have dinner and we watched a movie with her and Torrie (Cody's cousin). Dinner was wonderful. Then from there we went to Pap's and spent a little more time with him and then went to bed. Then today we went to Jon and Ashley's because it was Jon's birthday. He didn't know we were going to be there so he was very happy and surprise to see us. WE spent some time at the house and then went out to lunch. Ashley and I went to Target and K-Mart and grab a few things and then went back to her place. Cody and i said our good byes and gave kisses and then headed home. We came home to two kittens who were more then happy to see mommy and daddy. We had such a great time this weekend. And look forward to the next time we can see Jon, Ashley and the boys. We miss ya guys already.

Last Couple of Days

What a last couple of days. We have been busy busy busy. V-day was a great night. For the first time it was just me and Cody. We loved it. Cody got me a dozen roses (pink since that is my favorite color), a beautiful heart necklace, a card (with a nice note to me), a teddy bear holding a heart that says i love you, and two bags of Dove chocolate. I got Cody boxers, a t-shirt, cologne, a teddy bear (lion), a DVD, chocolate, and a card with a note just for him. We then went to dinner and a movie. I loved the whole night. Then Sunday we went to were Cody used to live, where Jon and Ashley live and his grandfather and other family. We went out to eat with Jim, Marta, (Jim and Marta are Cody's parents) Jon, Ashley, the boys, Ashley's sister, Ashley's grandparents and of course us. IT was so nice to meet Ashleys sister and even nicer to meet her grandmother. Very nice lady. We then spent some time with Ashley and the boys. After that we went to see Cody's grandfather and got to see Miranda (cody's cousin). Then we went back to see Jim and Marta and their friends house, Philo. After seeing them for a little we left and came home. What a busy day that was. So glad we got to see his parents. I was very happy to see Ashley. I know can say she is one of my dearest friends plus my future sister-in-law. I most say that the two hour drive to see them and back was nice. On our way back Cody and I got to talking. I love our talks. We had talked about him and school and work. Right now Cody isnt going to school. He hasnt been since July. I told him what ever he decides to do i will stick by him. If he wants to go back to school or not i will be happy as long as he is happy. If he wants to be a mechanic that would be good too. I think he should, it is something he would like to do. He wouldnt have to worry about doing the same thing everyday. My dad and uncle are mechanics and they love what they do. But like i said if he decides to do taht i will be happy. I told him pretty much as long as we can pay our bills and live happy with what we are doing i will support what ever he wants to do. I think after we get our credit cards payed off and everythign. I think he will go back to school. But i know that i am not going to harp on him about it because it wont make him want to go back any sooner. Anyways laterly we have been working and i have been working and going to school. Today i had to be in Harrisburg for a year beginning meeting. I had to be at work at 7 and we didnt get back until 4. So it was long and a little boring. But i did kinda enjoy myself. Tomorrow Cody and my dad are going to fix his car. It kinda died for the time being. He needed a new atlnater or however you spell it. My dad had offered to put it in for cody. So taht will be nice for them to spend time together doing that. Then Saturday we both work until 4. Then we are leaving to go out to see Ashley and Jon, Marta and JIm, Pap, Miranda and the rest of the family. I can not wait Ashley and i have a plans. We are going to a dinner and a movie. While Jon and Cody spend some brother time together. I can not wait and i know Cody cant wait to spend time with his brother. Here are some pictures from last weekend.

There are two quote/sayings that sum up my sister and Cody's brothers. I know that i have a pretty amazing sister. I don't know what i would do with out here. I know Cody wishes his brothers lived closer to us. There are times i know he wishes that they were close by to give him advise or just to be there. Yesterday my sister and her boyfriend spent sometime with us. We had dinner with them then after dinner we watched a movie. It was nice to spend time with them. They are the cutest couple (other then me and Cody that is) They really care for each other. Plus watching them together is just the funnest and cutest thing to watch sometimes. Then today my sister came over after i was done with school. Cody, me, and my sister, Brandy, went out shopping. We went to this place called Bargain Barn. That is a place where a guy go to actions and buys things then turns around and sales it. Cody and i have gotten a fish tank that is i believe 50 gallons that has a stand for only $8, we looked at a pet store you would have had to pay $500 for one. I had also recently gotten a night stand ($4 and it looks very different) and a filing cabinet ($6 and that just needs to get sanded down because of rust and repainted), oh and i got these little shoves that are the cutest. But that was awhile ago that i had gotten one. We also went to a couple of other places. Cody and i very much enjoy spending time with my sister. Next weekend we will be able to see Cody's brother Jon, sister-in-law Ashley and both is nephews Shawn & Landon and his parents. I know he is looking forward to seeing them all.

OMG i have the greatest best friend. Last night Cody, I, my friend kaylisha, and her boyfriend (well soon to be husband one day soon) John were going to go work out. Cody got sick so he didnt go, but Kaylisha, i and John. I had such a great time would have been even better if cody would have gone. Kaylisha and i worked out while we talked. She caught be up with what is going on with her mom. I hope her mom gets better and stays better. Kaylisha had told me if her mom doesnt make it she was thinking of moving to the south to where her family is. That would make me so upset. I love kaylisha, she is part of my family. I dont want her to move. That would make me so upset. But she is the greatest friend. SO today i have been so sore from working out. But yesterday my grandmother had told me when i stopped to see her after class that she had notice that i have lost some weight. Which makes me so happy to hear. Cody even said you can tell. I am so happy. You cant tell with my stomach, yet. OMg but wait it i can. I will be so happy. Here are some pictures of Kaylisha and John.
